When I found this product, I was a little skeptical. It does what is called Power Factor Optimization. I invited a master electrician and an engineer to see it in action. We tested the amp draw on each 120v leg and they both dropped use by 7 to 15 amps. It also helps our appliances last longer by helping the motors run about 10% cooler. Power-Save is UL listed and the technology is recognized by the U.S. Department of Energy which was just another reason to offer this product.
